What Types of Injectables Are Administered in Your Office?

Dr. Serure offers different types of injectables in his office in Miami such as JUVÉDERM®, Radiesse®, and BOTOX®.  Each injectable has its own benefits and can even enhance the results of plastic surgery procedures when used in combination with them.

JUVÉDERM® works by restoring the volume of the different areas of the face to achieve a youthful contour. Made from hyaluronic acid, these can all be used to eliminate moderate to severe lines and wrinkles. Since its active ingredient is naturally found in the body, this makes these injectables ideal for use and will be naturally broken down by the body with minimal side effects.

Radiesse® is another type of dermal injectable but removes the different signs of aging through the stimulation of the skins natural production of collagen. This is also administered to our patients with the use of a topical anesthesia. Radiesse® is designed to last for a longer period compared to other dermal fillers and works best for adding volume to the cheeks, smile and frown lines, and rejuvenation of the face.

BOTOX® is one of the first dermal injectable introduced in the market. BOTOX® works by relaxing the facial muscle that is responsible for the creation of the frown line. BOTOX® is the first and only treatment FDA approved to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead lines, and vertical bands connecting the neck and jaw in adults.
